Newbie

[Trophy1200]

Hi all, after spending the last few weeks reading through the forums, I thought it was about time I said "Hello".

I recently ( 1 calendar month ago today, Happy Anniversary ) bought a C180K, 11 months old with just under 7K on the clock.

It is in Obsidian black ( the best colour ) with cloth trim.

I hankered after a Merc when I lived in Germany, but by the time I got around to deciding to buy one it was tool late to buy and own for 6 months before bringing it back to the UK. That was many years ago now.

After a succession of family saloons and estates I finally managed to grt the Merc, and the smile still hasn't faded.

My other passion is motorbikes, I currently own a Triumph Trophy 1200, hence the nick.

I have lots of questions for a later date so at least my post count should rise.

I have enjoyed reading through the post and have already found answers to some of my list of questions.

It's nice to see such a friendly club and I hope to become a fully participating member.

Still think that black is the best colour even if it is a bitch to keep clean, no offence to anyone but all the silver ones around here seem to be driven by ladies or ethnic grocery store owners.

I'll post a pic when I get chance to wash it again.

oooh - speaking as someone looked up the drive last night and saw 2 silver Es one silver C, a silver clk and a silver smart - mmm seeing a pattern here. They all looked good though!
The Jeeps blue - does that count?

To be honest, my E is silver as well....The W208 was Obsidian black though, and really had a shine with it (along with the rust spots )
