Hi guys, thought I had better introduce myself!!!!!! I have 1 or 2 probs I need help with, may be in the wrong section so feel free to shoot me!!
I have a ml270 cdi on a 51 plate, I have aquired the vehicle after separating from my partner, I thought I would keep the car and sort some problems with it, I know I need to re seal injectors 1 and 2, they are both "chuffing", I assume this is a case of fitting new copper washers???
Now, in my wisdom I thought that 22 mpg is rubbish and it feels really slow so...... I had it chipped, plugged in to diagnostic machine and everything was fine before and after chipping, however when we checked the gearbox it showed a fault!!!!!! after a road test the bl;oody thing is stuck in 2nd gear! also the chipping never really made a difference to power, I have checked the MAF and that is fine, the car is holding boost ok although is smoking (black) quite badly, I am putting this down to the 2 injectors??? or could the gearbox affect this???
lastly..... ac has packed up and I have a really bad ticking noice from under the dash.
