Ng2.5 replacement after market stereo

I know it’s been discussed many times as I’ve read most of the many posts and tbh I’m no further forward what I would like to know has anyone replaced their command for an aftermarket unit. Musts for me are apple carplay, works with HK fibre optics( link up box fine), works with reverse camera, either works with built in or has independent Nav and I would very much like to retain steering wheel controls. Had one before in another car that did the job very well but always slightly annoyed me having buttons that no longer worked. I would prefer not to buy one of the cheapo Chinese ones( unless someone can tell me convincingly I should) but at the same time would like to spend as little as I need to I’d also like to do myself so reasonably easy to do would be a big plus. Anyone have real world experience? Thanks in advance

Email your VIN and want list to sales@comand.co.uk, from the VIN they'll get the build sheet for your car and advise accordingly. They won't touch cheapo Chinese units, won't even install if you supply, however, they do supply/install Pioneer amongst others!
