No air con at all, not a bit, nothing!

Hi all,

Over the weekend, did 3 long trips - and it was MISERY!

I set the two rotary dials for cold, but the air that came out was at best ambient, possibly even slightly warmer than the outside!

Now I read in the manual that if there was a prob with the Air Con compressor it would flag up by the EC light coming on - I've had cars where the air con needs gassing, and that usually just manifests itself as rather poor air con rather than a complete lack of it altogether.

Any ideas before taking to them who takes lots of money from people like me??

You need the fault codes read, find a good indi!!

If you have no LEDs on in the car or blinking when you press them it could be just low on gas, when car are low on gas, they will fail when its very hot and often work OK when its just around 20c
