No cold air from Aircon

Hello All,

I hope someone can help me or at least guide me to right path for my issue. As you all know we have had few good sunny days and yesterday i tried to switch my AC on and i was amazed to find that no cold air was coming. I turned off the economy mode off and put the fans on full but still no cold air.

Does anyone know if this means i need to re-gas or there are other faults. one thing i did notice was that the air con was kicking in as when i switched the economy mode off, it did make loud noise to indicate that aircon is still working.

Any ideas?

The gasses dont last forever .....get it check ...Kwikfit do, no work, no pay !!

you know how much they charge?

The air con is on when the EC lamp is not lit, if this lamp is not on and no cold air then time for a top up, when they are low on gas they will work when it is not so hot, but not when its very hot

Thanks Malc, I guess i will pay kwickfit a visit to see if it resolves the issue

Ec light does go on and off and i can hear the AC kicking in when the light is off so that would be gas issue

Would the a/c still kick in if the gas was low?

Anyway, probably first thing to do is get it regassed - I think Kwikfit say they don't charge if it doesn't make the car colder anyway.
