no heat coming out

E320 2002 cdi - any ideas what could be the cause, I have checked the water level in the radiator and there does not appear to be any leakage. It dosent matter if it is on auto, or i trurn the aircon off, I am still not getting any heat. Last week it started happening, when I stopped the car, turned the engine off for a couple of minutes the heat came through, but now it does not even do that, just cool air - not icy cold air just cool. Any help would be greatly appreciated

is your car a 210 or 211?

if you know the first part of your VIN number that will tell you what model it is, it will start WDB... followed by 3 numbers which is the model.

For example my car is and S211 (the S means its an estate, yours being a saloon would be a W...) and my VIN starts WDB211

As above will be shut off valve under master cylender not to deer to fix or just tape it may start working for awhile .
