no hot start without pedal

230ce starts with no pedal from cold, when the engine is warm you can crank it as long as you like and it will not start, unless you touch the pedal, even the slightest touch. it will always start straight away doing this.all ignition items have been replaced recently, its not that i cant live with it, and in the handbook it says you may need to depress pedal, but it didnt do this before so why now?!

Dunno but my E280 is the same. My mechanic said it's all normal and to be honest I don't even think about it now.

Its just abit annoying, like it should just start off the key!
