No kick down, no gear change E320 cdi w210 2002

hi. I'm new to the forum - hello all.

I'm after some inspiration as I have run out of ideas of what to try next.

I can get reverse but there is a slight delay before it acts.
The car has power and revs ok but won't change gear or kick down at all.

I've fitted a new conductor plate, all solenoids were checked and fine.

New battery fitted

Fluid levels are fine

Done gear box reset process.

Any ideas at all. All welcomed

You had it on star yet ? If its got such a major issue the must surely be related fault codes for it

Hi. Changed the TCU but I'm now wondering if the one I've put in is faulty

As Bembo has said Star or other good diagnostics is the way to go... otherwise you are poking around in the dark. Scan first, before anything else,,,read codes, and act accordingly. Good Luck
