No numbers on boot

Hi peps,picking up me sl350 on sat morning carnt wait,but I notice that it as the sl letters but no numbers on boot,is this normal or did all cars have the numbers on when new hope you can help thanks

Many owners remove the badges, the cars can be ordered new without badges.

More often than not the 350 owners remove them so that others do not know what the car is.

Thanks guys I ain't to bothered about it as ya say can always get some me self if I really want them on
