I have a 53 E320CDi with Command and have been using my Nokia 6310i happily in the under armrest cradle. For the past couple of months I haven't used it as I got myself another phone.

Today I received my second SIM card with a view to leave my old 6310i in the car and carry something more up-to-date around with me.

Now, the Command screen shows "No phone" even though I definitely have the phone securely in the cradle. I have tried it with another person's 6310i also but still the same message.

Am I missing something?

check the connections at the bottom of the cradle for dust or muck. I normally run my finger across them a couple of times.
That normally does the trick.

If it's UHI (i suspect not on a 53 but anyway), remove the cradle (small button top left and pull down) and blow the dust off the contacts on the plug and socket underneath.

Iv'e seen this before and a reset of the MOST ring fixed it. Failing that a complete power off of the comand unit should sort it unless there is a fault on the MOST bus itself.

Either way, you'll need a trip to your local dealer to get the MOST bus reset. You can try a complete power cycle of your AGW which is in the boot on the left side.

Fixed today. It needed another phone controller. Total damage including VAT £430. Bah humbug.
