no power vito 115

tryed starting the vito but still had it in gear, knocked it out of gear and tryed starting again, but now it won,t start and nothing works. have checked all fuses all o.k unfortunately its getting to dark to check anything else.
would be grateful of any ideas

A bit more info might be helpful.

Is your vito manual or auto?

What is it doing now, I.e dash lights/clicking/turning over etc...

Do you have an alarm that could be immobilising it for some reason?

information is power and it will help members greatly if you can tell us more.

thanks for reply.
problem solved. apparently when i tried starting it still in gear it put a big load on the battery and popped the neg lead off, which may have been loose from recent service?
so simple if only i,d have been able to work out how the passenger seat comes up. duh!
