No Sat Nav - please insert a data medium to active navigation

Hi all,

I collected my (new to me) GLC220D AMG Line 2020 this afternoon. When I test drove it a week ago the sat nav was working, but now it’s not. Error message says something like ‘please insert a data medium to active navigation’. Any idea how to get it working without taking it back to the garage? I do have a little disc with the manual, if I can get this on system, am I able to get all the updated maps again that my Mercedes me says it’s had?

It probably needs a SD card to activate it. If it was working when you test drove it, ask the garage to supply what you need to make it work again.

Spoke to the garage this morning who told me, it didn’t have it as he checked it himself when the vehicle came in, so I mush have imagined it! Blatantly lying.
So, I said if it didn’t have it why is the disc in the car with the manual and within the list of updates within Mercedes me shows all the map updates. So going back to the garage tomorrow!

Well done! You can tell when car salesmen are lying (like politicians) - their lips are moving!
