No sound from Becker Stereo.

Hello all,

My factory fitted Becker head unit on my SL320 1997 is showing full power with aerial working too, but no sound from speakers. I'm told that my model has an external amplifier, can anyone tell me if that's the case, and if so is there a way to tell if my problem is with the head unit or the external amp, or something else?

Only the Bose sound system is there an amp. Disconnect for 5 mins and may come back on. Do you have the code ?

Hi Malcolm, yes I do have the code, just to clarify if I have a Becker head unit, then I don't have an external Bose amp, and if I had had a Bose unit, then I would have one?

Yes that is correct, where there is an amp its normally under the passenger seat on most cars.
The head units are all the same,irrispective of the Bose set up. You can re set with luck by with drawing the cigar lighter fuse as the radio is on the same leg. This worked on one the same last week.
