No sound from my sound system.

Hi.
Just recently when I start my 1990 200 te sometimes the cd player will not produce music (allthough the disc is playing). When this happens the HRW dosnt seem to work and also the automatic rear wash wipe when selecting reverse. But when the cd player is producing sounds, everything at the back seems to be in order. Any suggestions? thanks John

First of all clean the fuses. you could put the CD on and move the fuses slightly, If the sound stops that's it,fuse holder needs to be closed a little.
the rear window and etc work from the N10 relay also prone to give problems, not sure though how this effects the CD. you could turn on the rear wiper and tap the relay box, they only ever have bad solder problems.

Thanks for that Malcolm. Are there two fuses for the cd player? As allthough there is no sound, the disc is still playing because the track timer is still playing away.
