I have a 2014 A180. I have tried installing this today and can’t get any sound from it. When the screen is installed on the top there is no place for the cable on the drivers side to plug into. The merc stereo is 4.5 but my car does not have an aux or media interface. Any suggestions please? Do I need the audio adapter box as in the photo?
No sound from stereo

I have a 2014 A180. I have bought the screen as per the attached photo. When it is connected there is no sound. There is nowhere to plug in the right hand cable(from original top screen) into the new one. The stereo in my car is an NTG 4.5. Do I need the aux audio adapter as per the photo, as they sent the media interface cable. My car does not have AUX or media interface. I have tried connecting an aux cable to a usb socket and then the other end of the aux to the rca in the stereo, but still no joy. Any advice is greatly received.
