No spark please help w124 2.8

I have a no spark problem i can't seem to fix . I have put a 1995 2.8 engine box into a 1990 coupe . I had the whole car I removed the lovely running engine from . It all lives up turns over but no spark . It has 12v live and earth to coils with key on . Fuel pumps prime and you can hear all the throttle body live up . The rev counter goes up and down with turning over . Anyone know what I can try

Could it be something to do with the security, ,EIS or key not talking to the new engine management.

Prob an idea to try 2nd eng key, lock, module (wher applicable) . I sure I remember on w168 that was the case.

What about the crank possition sensor ? The EZL is sent a pulse by the CPS to fire ,so no pulse from it ,. then no spark . Or alarm imbiiliser faulty ..

It sure it doesn't have a immobilized ecu . The engine loom does not include one and plugs in the same as the old one which don't have one . The doner car did have a radar key which worked the aftermarket cobra alarm which is wired into the cars loom inside the car . And it doesn't have a ezl

Tested the crank sensor and is ok plus the rev counter moves when turning it over . It doesn't have a ezl
