I have a 1993 2.0 Auto 190E , for the first 5 to 10 seconds or so each day the engine knocks till the oil pressure rises . Is this normal ? , Or is there a way to stop it . I have already replaced ALL the hydriolic tappets and spray bar. The duplex chain seems in good condition. The engine runs very quite now after the first few seconds . It just worrys me that dammage may be happening in the first few seconds after cold start.

Any one got any suggestions.

Ps I not scared of the spanner , so if mechanical detail is given it will be appreciated.....

Thanks I'll try that
Is there any way of telling which ones are worn or is it a case of renewing all 8 ?
