Hi- I have a SLK 320 with a car cradle A 203 820 04 51. I believed this would accept a Nokia 6210 phone -but when I fit the phone into the cradle the phone 'charges' but that seems to be all. Am I doing something wrong- or have I got the wrong phone? Many thanks, Margaret.

SLK is 2000 year- the phone cradle sits at the side of the tunnel- not inside the glove box, Margaret

If the cradle is on the tunnel then you have an aftermarket phone kit by the sound of it

The cradle is Mercedes marked A 203 820 04 51 the cars handbook shows the same cradle and mentions Nokia 6210 and 6150 phones to be compatible. I am sure it was a factory fit item when car was new. I don't have any particular instructions for the phone/cradle - hence my question on how to use it with a (used) Nokia 6210 phone I have just bought. Margaret

The cradle should take a 2150,6210 and 6310 but not the i version on early cradles. My 6210 phone has just gone wrong, it works fine as a hand held phone but not in the car,and it only charges. My old 6150 works just fine, so I need to replace the 6210

Thanks,,I have never seen or used the 6310i but I understand it is a much loved phone. That is a good price and worth me changing my cradle if I have to

It appears to be a good deal, that phone gets a very good rating, i have submitted an offer for one but doubt it will be accepted because the ones that have sold so far have never gone below £80, but we will see. Im a tight Scotsman you see and we have a reputation to keep up..ha ha :D

Margaret have you tried turning on the phone and pressing any of the buttons on the Audio 10.

I will look it up for you and see what the installation is, what is the car please.

My new phone came today and it works fine in my holder, so thats good news.

I seldom have the joy of opening something from the box for me. Most of what I own has been broken and thrown away, and I take it home to fix it.

I was given a super Kenwood toaster, and one element had gone. I was out in the SL last year when I passed by a bus stop with a skip outside. Right on top of the rubbish in the skip was a toaster like mine, the reaction of the people at the bus stop when I stopped and climbed up to get the toaster was unbelievable, but ½ hour later I had a working toaster

So you didn't have to buy a telephone control module then!

Do not know yet as the old phone just stopped when I was trying it,, I can whip the console out again and just plug it in to try. If it works that I can take out the rear and do it properly.

I am wondering if this module I have is faulty, but I have the old 6150 to try it on, and I do not care if it blows that one

Hi- Yes, I have tried this- but turning on the phone makes no difference to the radio- nor does making a call. The only thing that happens is that the cradle charges the phone. The car is a 2000 SLK 320, and the cradle is genuine Mercedes. Margaret
