Nokia CK_1W Passcode found How sad is this

Hi all

I posted a previous tread re pass code for Nokia CK-1W bluetooth carkit.

But how sad is this I decided to list out all the possible combinations of 4 numbers on an Excel spread from 0000 to 9999 which is 10000 combinations. And as I am retired and have lots of free time I started to input each combination. I asked the wife for a number between 1 an 9 and she said 6. So I entered every 4 digit code with 6 in it and it took many hours and the number 6 was not in any combination. So I thought 0 would possibly be in the code and restarted entering each 4 numbers with 0. I of course had already crossed out all with 6 and 0. so after many more hours
Bingo 2503 was the code.

Well worth the effort as the my phone and the wifes work very well in car.

Just proves if you have enough time any thing is possible.

So lucky it wasnt like the radio codes which doubles waiting time each time a wrong code is entered..

I have seen one of those rubber phones, good arn't they

for future reference the pass code is the last four digits of the seriel number on the main control box of a ck 1 if its a ck7 kit its the standard four zeros you can usualy tell the difference between them because the ck7 has the light grey button sorry i missed the beginning of this post might have saved you some time. if you ever need to clear the memory on the kit because its full turn off the ign wait for the light to go out on the kit then press the centre button for about 10 seconds or intill the kit bleeps that will erase all prevouis phones form its memory because they can only normaly only accept up to 5 phones before they are full
