Your Mercedes
W140
In the course of looking for another Mercedes, I could not help but notice this:

which I remembered from the MPH show in 2006 due to the unusual colour combination of burgandy and grey (it was being sold on behalf of private individual rather than though the actual auction and prices were referred).

Lo and behold:

Then, saw this:

I remember this car on the Autotrader for a while, starting at £12,000 and then eventually dropping to around £6,900 - was ready to go see it when it dropped off the radar and the chap said that had been sold.

I think that I may be in the wrong game (assuming that they sell for those prices of course!)

Gas converted and it would make a nice toy. Petrol costs would however be obscene! Not to mention possible repairs needed every now and then? It would take someone with big bollocks to buy a 500 these days and that's from an petrol 280 owner.
