not car related...but what is this electrical connection?

Red ringed, its the power connection for a wireless mouse, I've, ahem, mislaid my cable. I am upgrading the battery in one of my spare mice.

Instead of trying to replace the connection, why not just solder the connections in?

My soldering skills are not that great!

I'd rather not botch it. It looks somewhat like a miniature 3 pin fan header from a PC motherboard.
