Hi I’ve got a problem with my w212 e220 I drove to work this morning everything fine but half way there approximately 10 miles I noticed gears were not changing up until revs were 2500 to 3000
And car really sluggish and paddle shift not working but no engine management light on I took battery lead off thinking need a reset but when reconnected engine management light came on so plugged code reader in and I got this error P0101 mass or volume air flow circuit range performance so changed air flow mass sensor but still the same any ideas thanks John

Could well be, what code reader did you use?

Smart + others :)
Lack of engine power would cause this, common and costly mistake changing the air mass for this fault code, not changed one yet. Look for a boost leak or get it on a star diagnostic.

Thanks you right not air mass had a more detailed look today it’s looks like it’s a atf leak from cooler which sits across front beam
