NOX or EGR sensor fault?

So the other day my 2021 C300D went into limp mode but only a day later it came up with the engine management light. I plugged in my obd reader which displayed faults P2380-EGR sensor 'D' circuit and P226D- particulate filter deteriorated/missing substrate bank.

Question is whilst it mentions EGR sensor, im leaning towards a NOX sensor failure possibly and will check voltages once i get a moment, however the pre-cat sensor is £461 so wanted to make sure on this or see if anyone has had something similar????

Nothing there looks like NoX sensor, but I would suspect definition wrong.

P226D likely to be faulty differential pressure sensor but some reading of the values of this sensor will tell you whats happening with either the sensor or the DPF iteslf.

Yes, I couldn't fathom the logic when you report an electrical fault with EGR and as DPF fault but assume NOx.

I too expect the descriptions are wrong. Aren't P22xx and P23xx in the manufacturer specific range? So chances are if reading with a genetic tool the description doesn't fit MB's assignment of the codes.
EGR sensor 'D' circuit certainly looks suspect. To use the 'D' circuit code implies there is a 'A', 'B' and 'C' part, so 4 EGR sensors. What ever they are even. EGR position? I don't know of any engine with 4 EGRs.

So may prove helpful to someone in the future but just had my vehicle plugged in at a local Merc specialist which displayed fault code P238096 Differential pressure sensor 1 for DPF has an electrical fault. Evidently this is a fairly common fault and with a replacement sensor (located on the air intake manifold) and faults reset, all's now good in the world once more!
