Has anyone changed the Lower Spring Link Arms on this model of car? If so can this be done on a drive being jacked up or is not a DIY feasible task?

I did my CLK both arms the other year , diy on the drive . Just did the E class a couple of weeks ago , so yes it can be done

You don’t , when the car is on axle stands the wheels hang down and all tension on the front springs will go . You would only need spring compressor’s if you wanted to get the springs off the shock absorber , which you don’t .
