NTG version & Map revision ?

Hi Guys,

First post so please go easy on me..

I have a 2011 250 sport with what I 'think' is the command system or maybe the audio20, but i'm not sure what the difference is ?

Can someone please tell me how I confirm what version of the NTG and what revision of the mapdata I currently have.

It is the facelift model with the new style dash (i.e. non-flip up nav screen)..
and when I go into the maps information it says 2009/Q4 ?

I understand the latest version of the maps available for this model (if it is the 4.5) is the V5.. is this correct ?

For info on Navigation Updates, Mercedes publish an overview that you can find HERE

From that it would appear that the latest update is V7.0 from Sept 2012.

Turns out I have a Becker Map Pilot (audio 20) system in the car, and not the command as previously thought..
Got the module hooked up to the computer and updated the firmware and maps !

It turns out I have the Audio20 system with the Becker map pilot..
Plugged it into the PC and updated it all ..
