Termination of Parts Information for Private Persons

Please note that from the end of April 2021 onwards, the purchase and extension of access authorization for Parts Information will no longer be possible for private persons through the Service & Parts net Portal. Currently existing access authorizations for Parts Information will remain valid until they expire.

I looked the other day they killed it off.... plenty of places on ebay offer the disc to update to last available firmware… it usually comes free with an extra cd

if you mooch about and find time of arrival its already installed

There is also the Software Service Update for COMAND Br220/215/230: part no is220 589 05 22 00
this updates the HU s/w to v22/06 or 25/06
I have no idea what this update does, but the instructions are comprehensive.
You may need STAR to find out what level of s/w you have.
My early 07 NTG1 runs on V22/06 from the factory

those instructions are misleading they mean user stored set points may go walkabout

not the feature might vanish which is what it says....

it hides the secret user menu and turns on the choice to have time of arrival display (useful) - some noticed the secret menus stupidly allowed a user to select video in motion (illegal in most countries)... its gone after the last update
