Number plate light us

I own a 52 reg 2.7 cdi elegance recently the nearside number plate light failed (the offside is working) have changed the bulb to no effect . I realise that there is a fuse box in the boot but can anyone advise which fuse relates two this unit or does the same fuse run both lamps .it has been suggested that the fault may lie in the actual fuse box but since this is the only fault on the electrics i find this hard to believe. Anyone assist

Hello and welcome,,there is only one fuse for both lamps and they are wired together, so it could be just a poor connection
