OBD port connection w212 2012 220d

Hi all I am posting a picture of my OBD port because I can't get my reader to connect into it.
I think the port needs to be replaced ( or the two silver pins pushed in one direction or the other?? Or pulled out ??)
Would it be difficult to replace this port ? Assuming I can buy the part?

Check its not had a dummy fitted.

It's going into the dealer later this month for its fresh new rear subframe to be fitted and software update- it's currently off the road as it failed inspection here- so I m worried dealer will charge me mega for a replacment ??
