ODB Reader does not show a fault but Errors remain on screen ?

Hello all, I had a recent wheel speed sensor error cause ABS errors come up on my dash screen so I decided to clean the sensor which was mucky, I then decided to purchase myself a ODB reader which is meant to work with Mercedes but having tried it today it seems to connect and shows a fair amount of info about my car but its also showing no faults ? I have a ABS fault and stability control fault caused by the speed sensor but as I say they faults are not showing on the reader ? even though the faults were not showing I still used the clear codes option but the errors still remain ?
Anything I am missing ? or is it likely the reader simply does not work ?

It's probably that your obd reader is generic and is only reading the engine ecu. You will need an MB specific reader (like the icarsoft range)

iCarsoft don't restrict their sales through a dedicated UK dealership, they supply several retail businesses here in the UK. I bought from LJM and found their support better than iCarsoft themselves!

I would be looking at the v3 now. They have been about a few months and for more than the v2 they can be purchased at a reasonable price.
