Dreaming of a CL55k - one day maybe....
Hi there,

Picked up my new (well new to me) CLK yesterday.

All ran beautifully back - until I'd been driving for about an hour. Then instead of rising and falling smoothly, the speedo started to move in "ticks" a bit like a second hand on a watch. I am confident it's reading pretty accurate, however It doesn't go smoothly up or down.

Turn it off at end of journey all ok.

This morning, starts ok, then after about 20min starts doing it again. Been driving an hour and suddenly ABS and BAS warnings come on dash. Pull over, turn off car, wait 10sec, restart - all faults gone and no memory in the Malfunction screen......

Please tell me it's something simple!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Grant

I believe the speedo signal is an average derived from all four ABS sensors. Is this correct,Malcolm?
