I painted my front calipers today ... grey, not a bright yellow/green/etc and as the anti rattle clips on mine are showing signs of age I just wondered if they could be bought from elsewhere other than MB. Other than that I know I could paint them.

Think that comes with pads, not sure about non Benz pads tho. If you get onto ferodo or the like it may tell you what comes, if anything with pads.

Try brakeparts or big red. Eurocarparts normally carry them too.

They're £30-odd from MB .... not sure I want to spend £65 for a shiny thing than you've to bend down to see

I think i would rub them down and give them a coat of paint, as you say, they get dirty again quickly, if they are serviceable, why replace. Perhaps silver or black hammerite would do the job.

They are sowing signs of being pitted with rust .... I know they're not a 1st world problem, just wondered if I could make them look a little prettier!
