OEM radio removal

You can either buy the removal keys (they are flat and fit into the slots at the bottom of the stereo) - I think that Halford stock them.

Or you can do what I did and pop by the parts dept. of your local dealers, ask him if he's got any radio removal keys and get him to pop the radio out for you. :)

as above, i drove to my local dealer and asked them nicely to remove it., they did. for free too

if its a coded radio make sure you have the code as when it's reinstalled some day it'll prompt for the code

the small blade of a swiss army penknife will trip the catches as well, but be careful.
