OEM radio removal

Anyone know how to do this on W210

You can either buy the removal keys (they are flat and fit into the slots at the bottom of the stereo) - I think that Halford stock them.

Or you can do what I did and pop by the parts dept. of your local dealers, ask him if he's got any radio removal keys and get him to pop the radio out for you.

as above, i drove to my local dealer and asked them nicely to remove it., they did. for free too

if its a coded radio make sure you have the code as when it's reinstalled some day it'll prompt for the code

as an emergency measure

the small blade of a swiss army penknife will trip the catches as well, but be careful.
