i'm looking (on ebay) at a set of alloys for my W124 coupe. they're 17" 7.5x17 et 37 fronts, and 8.5x17 et 30 rears. will they fit? someone has said that the offset for a W124 chassis must be 35 ... is this true?

thanks guys, for any info, tips, urls etc

The SL based on a 124 uses 34-35, 37 on the front is OK, should be no trouble with clearing brakes, same with the rear, 30 is ok using a wider wheel.
I had 8.5 on my 1989 TE.
