I am in need of an electric Offside (drivers side) Wing Mirror for E320 Estate in Azurite Metallic blue for the W124 shape.

Can anyone help? I know that Beevers Auto Panels in BArnsley sell them but they need to be painted.

Is it possible to take the outer casing off the broken wing mirror and re-fit it on to the new one, this would save a repaint job! Has anyone ever done similar?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't done it personally, but it stands to reason the internals have to be removeable from the casing. I'd much rather replace the whole thing and get 'Hellfrauds' to make me up a spray can to the paint code. On such a small area as a wing mirror it isn't difficult to obtain a good finish.
There are usually plenty of W124 exterior mirrors on eBay.
