Oil Change

I want to get my oil changed on my c270 cdi. But my local garage is saying that mecs need a special reset tool when you dump the oil or it wont start again. Can anyone tell me if its true or not.

To re-set your service indicator look in the hand book and I will tell you in there.

If your local garage tell you this maybe they should not be working on your car.
