why would the cooler come with an oil filter housing? Nice little earner in forcing you to buy something that you already have ....

a lot stuff to remove before you get to the cooler fixings o_O

Not too horrible a job.

A bit odd that to comes all as one and its quite cheap for a big lump (for a change!)

Thanks 4 the replys am not getting notifications when someone replys.
A have seen the vids on YouTube a was just wondering if anyone had done there own that's all.
Also would anyone happen to no what the torque settings are for the oil filter housing bolts or were a can find them ave asked mercedes but they wouldn't tell me.

The housing must be fitted in the right place, Also bolts are not all the same length [ worth noticing this one ].
The Oil Filter Housing has a specifed torque of 25 nm. using this torque level, the lip of the housing does not meet the lip of the block. It takes a significant amount more torque to get the lips to meet.
