Oil Leak?

We have noticed Oil spots all over our driveway from our A Class, the garage have advised it is not leaking oil, where else could this be coming from? it is definatly the car leaking something?

Does it come from the front or back?

Does the car smell??? Ive noticed with all the salt and damp on the roads at the moment once the car is stopped on the drive it drips this dark coloured sludge which does look like oil, dab some tissue on it a see what its like.
