NOT!!!

I took these 2 pics back in April in Lanzarote.

I'd completely forgotten about them until just now.

Thought you guys and gals would appreciate them.

This car's paintwork was AS NEW! Really in tip top condition.

A lovely car, definately a concours example!

nah, mines a '75, the model that replaced the fin tail, possibly around '68 but im not sure.

Yes it would have been around 65 that I had my fin tail

Very true is that!

I think it's the hire car thing.

Nobody would've ever been to the Canaries on holiday in 1968, and even if they had, they wouldn't have hired a Mercedes!

Whereas, a brand new Fiat Grande Punto or Seat Ibiza aboard a boat to the canaries around late Feb or early March is doomed to a very short life of sand, seawater and the whole 'drive it like a hire car' style of driving!!
