Older Merc Tools

I was moving one of my cars out this morning to give it a run when one of my (not that near in distance) neighbours stopped on his way past and told me that his father in law had died some time ago and he had eventually been asked to sort out the the garage and shed. Told me he had found a box of tools all marked Mercedes and some had been marked as special by the deceased at some time. He's not asking for any cash for these and doesn't remember the deceased ever owning a Merc so I'm assuming the tools are definitely for earlier Mercs. I'll try and get a look at them in the next week or so and report back on what they are.

back in my spannering day on mercedes commercials we always used to raid the tool kits on PDI i've got quite a collection of stahwille and fazet spanners etc.

It is interesting but you know what,,, i have so many tools and merc bits i dont know what the other half will do with them all ,,thats if i go before her . And i am still buying ,, if i see a Mercedes part cheap that might help others .

Update on the Merc tools. I went to look at them yesterday evening and found that they were in fact BMW tools! Told him to put the lot up on our DoneDeal site over here and see if anyone wants them.

Ditto. I made an ABC priming tool using a bike valve and wine cork that worked a treat!
