Happy to be here. Thanks. Engine is OM606 (1999)a I'm baffled with something that seems like it should be obvious. I was working in the injector are of the engine. Won't bother you with those details but I really can't figure out the proper method of removing the pressure relief valve and it's piping that runs from the back of the engine, out of the valve cover to the valve and then to the turbo. I made a royal mess with this on removal. A lot of the plastic broke off. Does anybody know the proper way to remove and install this gem. There are two collars on the piping that seem like they would give the tolerance needed but once they clip in I am at a loss. Any solutions for a repair would also be appreciated. I have the tube going forward from the valve in good shape and the valve is good but the two collars and the elbow going in the valve are cracked. Thanks again for having this board.
