They are called Clic-r clamps , you can get a cheap tool off eBay buddy , the two clamps are also slightly different sizesHi, I've ordered a new Mann fuel filter which should be here soon. Does anyone know how I'm going to remove the clamps, I'd l ideally like to reuse them. Cheers
Bought, nice one!!! I will cut the old one open and take a picture. They are called Clic-r clamps , you can get a cheap tool off eBay buddy , the two clamps are also slightly different sizes
Recommended as single use - but if you are careful
I'm not sure, surely as it reaches the end of it's life loading of the tank pump is increased?IMO not worth changing until necessary - ie. starvation or water ingress. Just carry a spare on trips.
You won’t break them , I have reused mine a couple of times , yes change the filter at that mileage . MB parts sell them for a couple of quid each , so easy to getHumm, could I temporarily use jubilee clips if I break them, to tide me over before I get some more assuming the worst?
Plus, what are the symptoms of a clogged filter, I'm doing it as it's been there for 43,000 miles and I thought it wise? Cheers
I’d go Mann as well for £12I've not done this yet as I've not used the car and have been lazy. However, I've just thought I should probably change the air filters at the same time. I can get the genuine Merc ones for £42, or the Mann versions for £30. Is there any difference, I'm not keen on spending £12 just to get Mercedes printed on them! Thanks
Actually just got them from cp4less for £26 which is pretty decent. So oil, fuel and air filters. What else is in the B service scope? Probably brake fluid I suppose, annoying SBC.I’d go Mann as well for £12
