Had to replace the battery on my 99 C class W202 the other day, I checked I had my radio codethen got on with the job in hand.

But now somehow the one touch on my leccy windows is now longer working.

Anyone know how I reset it (please don’t say stand on your head with my hand down my pants shouting im a naughty little school boy) I tried that but it didn’t work

press and hold the button until the window is fully open, then hold for a further 10 seconds. release and then close the windows, hold again in the closed position for 10 seconds.

that should reset it.

Hi,
Think you have to do this to the electric roof (if fitted) too.

Iam surprised you need to reset it . My experience is the same as the Juveniles. Perhaps there is something about to give up in your electric window relay or the electric window motor is showing signs of fatigue.

Its an odd thing as to why some do and some dont on these resets.

My last 129 was OK sometimes and not others

could be related to the amount of time the battery is disconnected, perhaps if its not too long (less than a minute) then the 'memory' remains in the relays, but any longer and its erased

that's all I can think of

cheers

Hi,
Before i bought my AMG the car had been stood for 3-4 months and the battery was absolutely dead flat. Recharged it everything perfect but was getting the alarm going off reset windows and roof no more false alarms.

Should work both ways, have to reset the open same as the close. Switch all the way down and hold for 10 secs once open.

One touch windows up and down was available after the W202 C Class was facelifted approx. 1998.
Pre-face lift W202 C Class, it was only available one touch down.
