online tyre places and cost variations

So been looking out for some tyres for the W251 for the last 2 weeks. Been looking daily.

The price fluctuations and offers of online vendors vary daily - so bear in mind if you are in no rush.

Blackcircles - 253 a corner
Asda - 216 a corner (205 with a voucher)
F1 auto centre - 214 a corner (down to 200 a corner with their vouchers).

Interestingly F1autocentre are a fitter for asda and blackcircles.

So do look at all the vendors and compare prices and look out for deals.

In the end I plumped for PZeros 265/45/20 MO. They were the best compromise on premium and characteristics I was after. Its not a tyre debate.

Interestingly I asked MB directly the cost and their price was 273 a corner.

So much savings to be had (I am changing all four) if you shop around.

The Asda price is closest to Camskill @ £196.70 but there is delivery and fitting to add the that

When shopping online clear your browser cookies. Many sites place a cookie them raise prises on subsequent visits.

Got to shop around but don’t discount the local dealers. Different distributors are used due to location so prices will vary according to who is used at any given time.

I always check our prices, camskill, black circles, my tyres and demon tweaks.

Indeed even tried a few local places as I like to keep money with local places as far as I can. They couldn't compete....
