Has anyone got any ideas how I can open the boot on a c180. The 12v battery is totally flat, and although the key seems to turn in the boot lock, the boot just wont open! Key fob battery seems ok. Just wondered if the boot lock may be seized up? (its a family members car, and they were daft enough to leave it standing for a month).

try connecting power via a battery to the alternator under the engine,
that might give you enough power to open the central locking
