Evening.

It seems this month is going to be a good one for the 210. I am counting done the days until the warranty work is carried out on the rusty panels.

It's booked in for the 28th. :p

Then the other day, I was behind a Juggernaught on the motorway, (At a safe distance) when, whack! A big stone spun up and and left a nasty chip/crack on the windscreen. Oh jings, I remarked.

So I was at Auto-windscreens workshop this morning allowing them to inspect the screen and order up a new one from MB.

I hate to think what this is going to cost?

AXA. Lol  I'm glad I haggled for that zero excess now.

Please consider this the good news thread.

Ok before you go off rejoicing your auto wiper may need resetting by your garage and not all aftermarket screens are the same. There have been a few threads on it so it is well worth a search on the forum.

You could have always bought a vtec VFR and high-sided out of every bend ;-). Up to a big 8K service yet?

Cheers Blobcat.

The viffer's only just run in @ 52k  The valve's were checked at 48k and all were within tolerance. It's a Honda, ken. :D I might not bother at 56k. Lol.

I would have a Vtec for the ABS, but I like the Fi1 too much to change. Plus have I just bought a rather expensive (but lovely) Ohlins rear shock.

As for the screen. I don't have auto wipers and I can't find any MD markings on the screen? So I'm thinking it has already been replaced at some point over the last 7 years?

Although it is security marked/etched with the VIN Nu, as is the rest of the glass in the car.
