output adapter for sub

The standard output from the comand could not drive a sub woofer, it would need to have its own amp built in or a separate one. It would need to be a dual unit and it would connect over you front L and R speaker outputs from the head unit

true but can be done. I have an old sub active cross over unit that will take both line level and speaker level outputs (one for each side) and provides a line level to use as an input to a sub amp.
Thats assuming there are no spare or sub out puts to drive an amp from the command unit itself.

But dont these boom box subs come with their own amps anyway ?

That would be the only way to do it easily, is would just need a relay to start it up when the comand was turned on
