outside temp sender on S 500

Just come back to the merc fold again with a 97 S500, all well up to yet apart from one niggling fault, the outside tempreture displayed on the dash says its -35 degrees outside, not quite correct, where is the sensor ??? looked all over for it, help PLEASE :roll:

bit more accurate - on UK models, under left headlight there is a small pop openable 'vent' about 8" x 3" - dsensor is clipped into there.
