Owners Wallet and Manuals

a friend of mine seen my merc and bought one, only downside was there was no owners wallet with the car and the instruction manuals showing him how to work the memory seats etc, i have shown him mine but like me he wants to have all the books so to speak, any ideas on were to get them i have checked ebay for him but to no avail

Mercedes do sell them, but I understand they are quite expensive.
Another possibility might be ebid (ebay clone).
Its more than just a bit of effort and time consuming, but what about photocopying yours?
If you have the facilities available, do it at work in your lunch break over say a period of a week or so, and its free!

I believe they aren't too expensive new - ask your dealer. Alternatively, try the breakers - Dronsfields or Mercman. Presumably they have a room full!

I was in a similar position, but by monitoring eBay one eventually came up for sale - which I purchased.

Note that eBay has a "Want it now" feature which in effect allows you to advertise what you are looking for, for free.

The other thing I would suggest is search, and find sellers who are selling similar items. Contact them through eBay and tell them exactly what you want and ask if they can source it for you. There seem to be a number of sellers who seem to specialise in Owner's Handbooks.
