Yep there goes another £150.00

Went to MB asked about my key not working, wanted to do a diognostic on the key to find out what the problem is? and told me it was gonna cost near on £100.00 and that it may not sort the problem it may just tell them what the problem is.

so they ordered a new key ( by the way if you ever need a key from MB take a photo id, passport and your V5. oh and a wheel barrow of cash) and they needed to book the car in for a half hr slot to re sync the new key?!

i thought the keys came pre programmed? thats the whole point of them using the vin number is it not?

Never mind??? any how as long as i get that grin factor my car puts on my face every time i drive it i dont mind.........ok i mind a little bit.

I don't know about the re-synch I just ordered one through my local indie on my vin no. from Germany walked straight out with it and it worked first touch of the button:???:

I am with you young man on this one, keyless go cards need to be programed

Not the normal key fobs/keys.
