Hi

The engine management light came on recently and have had a diagnostic check done..the error p009564 has come up as:

Intake air temperature sensor 2 (cylinder bank 1) has an electrical fault. There is an implausible signal

I have a 2015 a class mercedes a180 w176

I have cleaned the sensor, removed the battery for 20 mins and connected everything up but the engine management light came up again!!

Any suggestions on the above??

Thank you

Look at the live data and if necessary replace the sensor.
You may need to clear the code using a diagnostic scanner.

Apparently this sensor thr data cudnt be cleared..the sensor comes built in with the part according to euro car parts (they said it was a dealer only part) and to mercedes dealers...

could be you have pending codes which won’t trigger an EML unless problems persists on a few cycles.
What is holds electric sprayer?

Ps wouldn’t trust a word ECP say

I don't know that engine, but IAT2 often is used to refer to a charge air temp. IAT1 being the furthest upstream, so normally the temp in with the MAF.
When ECP say it's built in with the part are they referring to the TMAF?

Holts electric spray cleaner...the code has reappeared and the eml has come up on the dash..mercedes dealers said the part and the sensor come together as 1 and would costs 240 pounds for the part and sensor as its a dealer only part...
